School Day & Attendance
School starts at: 8.45am
School finishes at: 3.15pm
Length of school day: 5 hours 15 minutes
The nursery sessions for F1 children only are:
- Morning: 8.30am-11.30am
- Afternoon: 12.30pm-3.30pm
To help your child achieve good attendance at Forest Town Primary, please remember to:
- Make sure your child arrives at school on time. The bell rings at 8:40am and school begins at 8:45am
- Contact school on the first day your child is absent by 9am: 01623 477211 office@foresttownprimaryschool.co.uk or via the school office Class Dojo
- Arrange medical, dental and optician appointments outside of school hours

All children need to achieve and maintain at least 96% attendance.
